A Resource for Part Time or Commuter Cruisers!

Come visit my brand new website, www.commutercruiser.com!!!

Combining the best of two very different lifestyles is why Commuter Cruising is one of the fastest growing segments of the cruising community!   This past 10 years has seen an explosion in popularity as cruisers spend the cold months floating around a Caribbean paradise exploring distant islands fringed with palm trees and soft sand beaches, swimming, snorkeling and immersing themselves into different cultures.  Returning home, like us, they enjoy the changing seasons, from spring to summer to fall.

For us, merging the two lifestyles enabled us to "go cruising" while still keeping our cottage, surrounded by family and friends!  What could be better!

Commuter Cruisers will be packed with information for first time commuter cruisers and soon will share information between experienced commuter cruisers!  We'll offer tips to overcome the normal reluctance to leave your floating home in some strange marina, lots of tips on topics specifically for commuter cruisers, how to pick a marina, how to find a reliable caretaker,  practical advice, problem-solving suggestions and anything else we can think of for those interested in following in our commuter cruiser wake!

It's brand new (May 2011) and content will be added every day, so go visit, subscribe or whatever, but stay tuned!!!   www.commutercruiser.com
