But, ummmm, those roasting cinnamon glazed pecans in a tiny boat oven sure smelled good up & down our dock this afternoon!

Despite flying in formation ... these are PELICANS taking a break from their kamikaze fishing activities. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to spend another few days at anchor and wander this beautiful deserted beach.
This evening was so quiet, the reflections in the water were a mirror to the boats above. You can see Winterlude, dark hulled sailboat at the end of the dock.
OK, so I love wildlife in the marina, manatees, dolphins ... but this guy is a trifle menacing! He's on a canal within a few minutes walk of the boat! Smile for the camera!!!
It's been awhile since I could proudly fly this flag! Yesterday was a good day for sports - Indiana beat #1 Kentucky and Navy beat Army in the Army/Navy Game. It doesn't get better!
And dolphins... it doesn't get better! ... well, maybe warm clear water so I can put on my snorkel & fins ... soon, I hope! :)
The USS Peleliu, US Navy, LHA-5, passes the Arizona Memorial during a Tiger Cruise I was privileged to join. Here's the link to the story: US Navy Tiger Cruise.
Dreams Come True was probably one of the most beautiful wooden boats that either David & I had ever seen. Just looking over this beautiful boat was worth the price of admission to the St Pete Boat Show!
David was so very excited to "sell" his rusty anchor chain to "Scrappy" at the recycling place out on Pine Island. He got a whopping $17 for 150' and 154 lbs of steel chain. But the good news is WE HAVE NEW ANCHOR CHAIN!!! No worries, Life is Good! :)
