Winterlude is a Bob Perry designed l985 Passport 37.  We found her in Hampton Roads, VA, brought her up the Chesapeake with her prior owner enabling us to get a firsthand look at her systems, bought her in Annapolis in Spring 2001.   In the future, we'll retire  and spend our winters cruising the Caribbean.  After spending the summer learning to cruise on Chesapeake Bay & getting a refit completed, Winterlude is now home at Burnt Store Marina on Charlotte Harbor, Florida!

The Family Car ... originally a Caribe 8' Roll Up

Whatever you do, don't skimp on the family car!  The dinghy will provide your source of transportation to distant reefs for the best snorkeling as well as to town for provisioning.  Get the largest one that will fit aboard your boat easily.  For us that was small since we have minimal space aboard our foredeck and originally thought we needed a rollup so we could keep it below decks during passages.  This dinghy served us well for over 5 years when we opted to replace it with a 9' AB aluminum RIB which we had shipped to Roatan.
