Brrrrrr!  But it's Sunday Night!

"Oh, the weather outside is frightful...." but inside is getting better while I simmer the spaghetti and sauce in one big pot -- slowly in order to maximize the heat generated inside the cabin!  Sure smells good, I can just hope it tastes good too.  It was a "concoction" - throw together veggies & chicken to make sauce -- oops, it's too thin, no problem, we'll just throw the linguine in too & simmer it longer.  Two good things happen - only one pot to clean and the cabin gets warmer... while it's blowing 18+ outside and in the 50's.   I know the 50's sounds great to most everyone but us, but believe me, with the wind howling across the water and all the whitecaps, it's nice to have warm food simmering inside!

And, Sunday night means the only TV show I really like -- Amazing Race.  We were able to watch most of it on our little tv antennae last Sunday, but this week we've swung differently on the anchor and not sure we'll get to see it.  Oh well, that's what a fully loaded Kindle is for!  Books & more books!   :)

Have a great evening -- stay warm and stay anchored securely!

Thank you for all of your articles and information. Last night I made Tropical Beef Chunks with rice for supper, (The Boat Galley Cookbook)
It turned out fantastic, and was enjoyed by all. I received your book, for Christmas last year and have made a point of trying new recipes every week. Thank you again for such a wonderful cookbook. This June we will be back on the boat, exploring the Canadian Maritimes and the cookbook will come with us.
