Did I mention, literally 10,000 Islands? Each one different from the next. Tiny secluded beaches to explore, lots of birds and wildlife - trying not to get too close to an alligator with our RIB inflatable dinghy though! Loving it here! Internet/cell service is intermittent here. We're moving around exploring different anchorages - not easy with our 5 1/2 foot draft and the very shallow waters. If I'm not posting, it's not because there's nothing to say or show, it's just that we're too far from civilization. Which is hard to believe given that right now we're anchored less than 15 miles as a crow (or osprey, frigate bird or bald eagle) flies from busy crowded Marco Island. Of course, we can't get there from here in the boat because of the long, shallow, rough Romano Shoal, but that's OK because that's what makes it so isolated and quiet! Gotta go, another day of exploring beckons!
